Our charitable funds aim to enhance the care of people who use our services as well of improving our wellbeing offer for patients and staff.
We support services and departments across our hospitals and in the community.

Donate online
You can give a one-off or monthly donation using our Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust’s JustGiving page.
Making a donation is easy to do and hugely appreciated. It really does help.
Donate to a ward
You can donate cash or cheques direct to a ward.
Donate over the phone
If you would like to make a donation over the phone please call (01642 283911). You can add 25% to your donation, at no extra cost to you, by utilising Gift Aid. To be able to do this, the donation must be from you and the amount of Income and Capital Gains Tax that you are to pay in the current tax year must be equal to or greater than 25% of the donation.
Leave a gift in your will
Many people choose to leave a gift in their wills as a thank you to an organisation or charity that has supported them or their loved ones
Any amount, no matter how large or small can be a lasting legacy to ensure that others receive the best possible care and support for many years ahead.
To leave a gift in your will please speak to a solicitor and ask for a legacy to be included.
Fundraise for us
Why not have fun while raising money for our charity? You could organise a fun event such as a bake sale or quiz night.
Or if you’re a sporting type why not set yourself a sponsored challenge and raise money for the trust through a sponsored run, bike or walk?
Anything goes and you can have fun knowing you’re raising money for a great cause.

Donations and involvement in our charity makes a huge difference to our staff and population across County Durham, Darlington, Teesside, North Yorkshire, York and Selby who have access to our services every day.

- enhance facilities or add creature comforts in our inpatient wards
- provide staff and patient wellbeing opportunities
- support people to remain independent at home
- provide staff training to support their development
- fund grants for vital research relating to mental health and learning disabilities
