30 September 2025
The event will take place from 11am to 3.30pm. It’s a great opportunity to meet and hear from our new Chief Executive, Alison Smith. Alison joined the Trust on 8 September.
What to expect
In addition to presenting our Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025, we’ll also be sharing the work that’s taking place to drive forward our commitment to the NHS 10-year health plan.
The NHS 10-year health plan outlines three key themes to support health care services to be ‘fit for future’:
- moving care from hospital to community
- shifting from analogue to digital ways of working
- changing the focus from treatment to prevention
Bev Reilly, our trust’s interim chair, explains: “Our Annual General and Members meeting is an opportunity for our colleagues to show the meaningful work that they do every day to provide safe and kind care. We’ll also share an update on how we’re working closely with our partners to support the key themes in the NHS 10-year health plan and talk about commitment and future plans to meet the changing needs of our communities.”
Who can attend
Open to all, the Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust AGM is a great opportunity to learn more about mental health and learning and disability services in your area.
There’ll also be the opportunity to talk with staff from a variety of trust teams, services and programmes in the ‘services marketplace’. This will be open from 11am, until the start of the main meeting at 1pm.
