An idea to create a new children and young person’s peer support group was raised by a young service user, who discussed the difficulty and worry they felt when trying to access social groups, make friends and visit shops and businesses in their local community.
Teaching staff and young people in secondary schools and further education can now access wellbeing support and advice via a new wellbeing in mind service in Harrogate, York, and Hambleton and Richmondshire.
