If you are referred to CAMHS you will be contacted by us as soon as possible. We look at the information we receive and a decision is made about how quickly we need to contact you. This is normally within a week.
We will listen to you to understand. Once we understand what support you might benefit from, we will take steps to help you feel better and thrive in your future. This might include:
- giving advice to support you
- helping you get to the right place and person to support you
We might need to meet you and your parents or carers and invite you for an assessment.
