We will ask you to fill in a questionnaire about your health and wellbeing. These questionnaires are called Routine Outcome Measures (ROMS). This helps you and your clinician check your progress and recovery, discuss any issues you may have and improve your care and treatment.
CAMHS near you
Young people have made video tours of some of our main bases, so you know where to come and what to expect.
Will you speak to my parents or carers?
It is always helpful to hear from your parent and carers and have them involved.
Depending on your age and your wishes, the CAMHS clinician will speak to you and your parents or carers together and/or separately. We will respect your wishes about confidentiality and involving your parents, especially if you are an older young person.
If you do not want to involve your parents or carers, please let us know and we can work out how, and if, this is possible.
Request an interpreter
Please let us know if we need to arrange an interpreter, if your first language is not English, or you have other communication preferences.
