Over 200 people attended the event, which included a marketplace of 40 stalls from a range of Trust services and partners, as well as presentations from colleagues and partners around health inequalities, community mental health transformation and mental health support in schools.
Commenting on the event David Jennings, Chair at TEWV said: “Our AGM is not only a chance to present our annual report and accounts, but it’s also an opportunity to showcase some of the amazing work that takes place across our Trust and to highlight the ambitions we have for the future.
“The theme of this year’s event was mental health and our communities, and I’m proud that we were able to demonstrate the important collaborative approach we have with our valued partners to improving the lives of people in our local communities. It was wonderful to see many of partners come along to support the event, and to speak about the work that’s taking place and the impact it’s having.”
As part of the formal meeting, Trust Chief Executive, Brent Kilmurray delivered an overview of the Trust’s performance over the last year and the plans for the future.
Liz Romaniak Executive Director of Finance, Estates and Facilities also presented the Trust’s annual accounts, followed by a report from the Trust’s external auditors Mazars LLP. Gary Emerson, Lead Governor also delivered his lead Governor’s report.
