A range of free help and support is on now offer from a wellbeing app aimed at health, care, emergency, voluntary and local authority workers across Humber and North Yorkshire.
The HNY Our People app provides information and advice on a range of health issues, as well as tips to build healthy habits, fun health challenges and access to self-help tools.
Webinars and bespoke health sessions are also offered throughout the year – including help with sleep issues, menopause support and dealing with grief and loss.
“The app is designed to maintain and improve the wellbeing, physical and mental health of staff by providing a range of self-help resources to people on-the-go,” said a spokesperson.
Current and future help on offer includes:

“The app is part of, and builds on, the existing support provided across Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership and our Resilience Hub,” said the spokesperson.
“Sometimes, the smallest change can make a big difference. A little daily reminder can go a long way to maintaining those changes and the app give you the tools at your fingertips.
“For anyone needing more in-depth mental health support, you can also refer into the Hub direct from the app, and our team can provide additional support and advice.”
