Elizabeth joined the Trust in July 2015 as director of nursing and governance. Previously she held a variety of clinical, professional and managerial roles across inpatient and community settings.
Elizabeth said: “The Trust has much to look forward and it certainly feels like we’re moving in the right direction. With several new executive colleagues joining the Board to lead the charge on delivering Our Journey to Change as well as our action plans, I feel now is the time to bow out as the longest standing member of the leadership team.
“It’s been an absolute privilege to have worked in a profession that I love for all these years, and I’m so proud to have worked with some amazing colleagues in my time in the NHS and of course in TEWV.”
Our chief executive Brent Kilmurray said: “It’s been a privilege working alongside Elizabeth and I’d like to place on record my thanks to Elizabeth for her compassion, commitment and resilience during her time at the Trust.
“I am proud of the improvements we have made and continue to make on Our Journey to Change. I see the difference every day on our wards as we work alongside patients, carers, partners and colleagues to make progress.”
