Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLs) Procedure sets out how to: • Identify when a deprivation of liberty (DoL) occurs; • Where appropriate, make urgent authorisations under the DoLS • Where appropriate, obtain standard authorisations from the correct Supervisory Body (SB) • Inform the CQC of the outcomes of DoLS requests and authorisations
