Middlesbrough Council is the lead provider of respite care at Levick Court. Our team works with them to deliver specialist clinical support.
This replaces respite services delivered out of 2 Bankfields Court and Aysgarth, both of which are now closed.
Who can stay at Levick Court?
The service offers short term care to adults with a learning disability and one or more of the following:
- additional physical disabilities which need regular nursing intervention
- behaviours that may challenge
- severe uncontrolled epilepsy
- people who need specialised health care eg. tracheotomies, regular emergency medication
Our team
Our team consists of qualified nurses. We also have a range of therapy staff that visit the unit on a referral basis which includes occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, dietetics and physiotherapy.
While your loved one is at Levick Court a qualified staff nurse will be on shift supported by trained care staff.
