The multidisciplinary team will focus on risk minimisation, reintegration and engagement, with the overarching aim to progress individuals through to the next stages of their care, utilising a humanistic approach.
The ward will offer a structured but flexible day depending on the needs and wants of the people we support, allowing both autonomy and guidance to flourish, aligning with our values of least restrictive practice.
Daily routine
Eagle/Osprey Ward has an established seven-day activity timetable, this has been co-produced by staff and service users, this ensures that the activities that we provide are meaningful and can provide positive outcomes.
If you are new to our ward, we would love to hear your interests and hobbies with the intention of adding these to our already flexible timetable.
Staff are readily available throughout the day to answer any questions, please do not hesitate to communicate with staff your thoughts, opinions or feelings. There is also a weekly meeting to discuss care and treatment of the people we support, ensuring the voice of those we support are heard at all times.
Meals and drinks
We provide three meals per day, always with a variety of choice. The weekly menus are on display in the dining room and alternate each week. You are also able to have your own snacks.
If you have any special dietary requirements (such as diabetic, vegetarian or cultural) we will inform the catering service.
The ward operates protected mealtimes, to make sure you have your meal with limited disruption. We therefore ask that professionals and carers avoid contacting the ward at mealtimes where possible.
