Information about waiting lists
Waiting lists for both assessment and treatment vary by area, and the most urgent cases are prioritised. You could contact your local CAMHS service to check if your referral has arrived and ask for an update on waiting times.
Always tell CAMHS if the child or young person’s mental health worsens or there are other important changes in their lives while on the waiting list.
