TEWV was awarded CMI status back in 2019 – one of just a few NHS Trusts in England to hold the honour – allowing us to offer a range of in-house leadership and management qualifications.
Now, following a recent audit in relation to CMI Centre Registration, TEWV has maintained our registered centre status as Effective Provision – with no actions.
“This is great news. We could not have achieved any higher,” said Dr Sarah Dexter-Smith, Director for People and Culture.
CMI is the only organisation which can award Chartered Manager status and TEWV is audited annually to ensure our Trust is meeting the stringent CMI standards.
“It means we have better equipped managers, who understand the principles of leadership and management,” said Sarah. “This, in turn, means that our staff are well led – leading to better quality patient care.”
