Imperial Avenue provides inpatient care, support, and treatment for people with an eating disorder.

David Tate, Senior Eating Disorders Practitioner & First Episode Rapid Early Intervention for Eating Disorders (FREED) Champion at Imperial, arranged the whole day inviting staff members from Durham University mental health team, Durham Darlington CAMHS eating disorders, Eating Distress Northeast (EDNE), Staff from Birch Ward, Cumbria and Newcastle eating disorders staff and chief executive Brent Kilmurray.

Guests were able to chat with staff members, have a guided tour of the site, and were also invited to watch a virtual tour guide, an Introduction to Imperial Avenue and interviews with current and previous service users whose lives were impacted by the service.

It was a lovely afternoon had by all and a BIG thank you to all the staff and service users who took part in the day.
