Colleagues who are members of the Royal College of nursing will not be taking strike action on Thursday 15 December or Tuesday 20 December.
We would like to reassure all of our patients, carers and partners that services and appointments will continue as usual.
While other organisations are preparing for strike action, the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) has told us that at our Trust, the ballot did not meet the required threshold for industrial action.
This means that members of the RCN working at Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) will not be taking strike action on 15 or 20 December.
