If you live in Stockton-on-Tees or the surrounding areas, the drop-in provides an opportunity for you to meet your local Governors face to face, find out more about what they do and share your experiences of mental health care and support from the Trust.
Our governors have an important role to play in the Trust. They‘re ambassadors for us and responsible for representing the interests of the Trust’s members, the public and partner organisations.
It’s important that they hear the views and opinions of local people, so that they can understand people’s experiences, what works well and what can be improved. This knowledge helps our Governors to support us to continuously improve the quality of our services and provide high standards of care.
As well as meeting our Governors there’ll also be the opportunity to meet with representatives from Teesside Mind, Stockton Advice and Information Service (Stockton CAB), Healthwatch Stockton as well as local staff from the Community Mental Health Transformation programme and local community mental health team. They’ll all be on hand to answer any mental health or benefit/debt related questions you might have.
The event is informal and your chance to pop by and share any problems or issues as well as any positive experiences and things you think work well.
We’ll have refreshments ready and waiting and we look forward to seeing you there.
