After providing mental health and wellbeing support to more than 5,800 health, care and emergency service staff across Humber and North Yorkshire for the last four years, it is with regret that we announce the closure of the Humber and North Yorkshire Resilience Hub.
The decision to close the Hub – amid big financial challenges across the NHS – has not been an easy one and follows significant engagement with key stakeholders including system leaders, the health and wellbeing committee and HR departments.
Thanks to Hub staff for their achievements
During the last four years the Hub has been a highly successful and impactful service, delivering high quality mental health care for the Humber and North Yorkshire workforce. It’s also been recognised for its innovative and dynamic approaches, most recently shortlisted for a Health Service Journal Award.
We are grateful to the Humber and North Yorkshire Resilience Hub team for their work delivering excellent care over the past four years, and as a system we are committed to utilise the learning and impact of the Hub in how we continue to champion and support the Humber and North Yorkshire workforce.
What happens next
The service will offer limited continuity of care to existing clients over the coming months, to enable employers to transition to alternative provision for their staff mental health needs.
We can assure all clients currently under the care of the Hub that they will be contacted regarding their pathway of care as soon as possible.
If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact the Hub, via email: [email protected]
