The Trust’s Hotel Services Department have achieved World Class status within the Hospitality Assured Business Excellence Accreditation.
Hotel services provides vital services including cleaning, catering, portering and reception management across the TEWV region – and the recognition has been warmly welcomed.
Top quality work

World class service
Hospitality Assured is recognised as the leading business and service accreditation across hospitality-focused sectors operating across the UK, Caribbean and UAE.
The standard was initially created by the Institute of Hospitality in 1998, to drive quality and professionalism in the sector. The standard has three grades: accredited, Premier and World Class.
Hospitality Assured World Class is awarded to organisations that are the best of the best and use excellent performance standards that become benchmarks for others to aspire to.
15 year journey to glory
The HA World Class status signifies that Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust Hotel Services Department are amongst the top 10% of the highest scoring organisations.
This much-coveted achievement follows a 15-year journey for hotel services, which has seen them move through the three grades to finally achieve World Class status following a recent two-day assessment.

This top-level award puts TEWV in the company of Royal London Facilities Management, Grantley Hall, Royal Holloway and the University of London.
