To celebrate Freedom to Speak Up Month at our Trust we will be visiting main hospital sites throughout the month of October. For those that come and have a chat with us either to simply say hello or to ask any questions that you may have about speaking up, we will be offering you a free pen and a sweet treat. Our Freedom to Speak Up Guardians are Vicki Brinsley and Dewi Williams. They will be visiting different sites throughout October on the following dates:
– Wednesday 18 October, Cross Lane Hospital, main reception
– Tuesday 24 October, West Park Hospital, main reception
– Thursday 26 October, Roseberry Park Hospital, main reception
We are always on the lookout for Speaking up Ambassadors. The main duties of this role are as follows:
– Act as a workplace support for colleagues
– Act as a first point of contact
– Give information as to where and how the Freedom to Speak Up Guardians can be contacted.
The role is voluntary and is undertaken in addition to your existing role within our Trust.
If anyone is interested in this role, please contact Vicki Brinsley, Freedom to Speak Up Officer, email [email protected]
