Change to crisis line phone options in Durham Tees Valley

Up until 18 March, the options you press on your telephone to access crisis support in the Durham Tees Valley area will be different between 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am.

We are implementing a new telephone system in our Trustwide crisis service over the next two weeks.

This means that the options you press on your telephone to access crisis support will be different between 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am, until 18 March.

Please listen carefully to the options to make sure you get through to the right team.

This won’t affect the care you receive, it is just the telephone options that will change at different times of the day. It is in preparation for the implementation of NHS 111 select option mental health in our Trust later this year.

If you are aged 18 and over living in Teesside, Durham and Darlington, there is also a Durham Tees Valley listening service offering emotional support. It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The number to call is 0800 046 1313.
