This year’s theme is ‘Building carer friendly communities.’
It’s about highlighting how the impact of carer friendly communities can have in making a real and lasting difference to the lives of carers everywhere.
There are lots of exciting events happening within Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) and around the area that you can take part in.
Staff from Roseberry Park in Middlesbrough have organised a carers week roadshow with stalls based within Dalesway Reception and will be joined by different organisations each day:
– Monday 8 June: Carers Together, 2pm- 4pm
– Tuesday 9 June: Stockton Carers, 2pm-4pm
– Wednesday 10 June: Hartlepool Carers, 2pm-4pm
– Thursday 11 June: Hannah Solan and Catherine Boughen from Roseberry Park will be hosting their own stalls for you to drop by and have a chat
Helen Cooke and colleagues from people and culture which also be hosting a series of events this week which are detailed below:
– Monday 8 June – In person stall at Roseberry Park (AM) and Redcar Primary Care Hospital, West Dyke Road, Redcar TS10 4NW (PM) with Carers Together (Teesside) to find out more about what caring is, and what support might be available for you
– Friday 12 June – Carers stall at Redcar Market (9am – 2:30pm) Hosted by Alison Hamilton from Carers
