Friday 19 December
A free recruitment event is set to take place for anyone who is interested in a career in NHS mental health services in North Yorkshire.
Our trust will host a walk-in event where people can find out more about available jobs in our adult and young people’s crisis services – with interviews available on the day.
The event will take place in York on Friday 16 January and will also include information stalls about the benefits of working in the NHS and temporary ‘bank’ roles.
Mel Woodcock, general manager for our child and adolescent mental health services in North Yorkshire, said: “Our crisis teams step in when it matters most, providing urgent mental health care and support to the people in our communities.
“We have a range of roles available – from healthcare assistants to registered nurses to administrative posts.
“People can drop in and talk to us to find out more, apply for available posts, and even be interviewed on the day if they want to.
“We cover the whole region of North Yorkshire, including York, Harrogate and the lovely seaside towns of Scarborough and Whitby.
“This may be the perfect opportunity for someone looking to relocate to this beautiful area, or perhaps someone looking for their next career move in the NHS.”
The event is free and will take place on Friday 16 January 2026, from 10am to 4pm, at Priory Street Centre, 15 Priory Street, York, YO1 6ET. No booking necessary.
