The purpose of this policy is the following:
• To ensure that the Trust has appropriate counter fraud procedures in place to comply with the NHSCFA’s Standards for Providers: fraud, bribery and corruption,
• To detail the roles and responsibilities of key staff / departments of the Trust
• To provide a guide for employees on what fraud is in the NHS, what everyone’s responsibility is to prevent fraud, bribery and corruption (including how to report it) and its intended outcomes.
