The aim of this policy is to:
• Appoint persons to be managerially responsible
• Identify and assess sources of risk
• Prepare an action plan for preventing, reducing or controlling the risk
• Implement and manage and monitor precautions
• Keep records of the precautions implemented and will do so for each of the health care premises within the Trust’s control.
