A musical treat hit just the right note at the annual Ridgeway carers and families Christmas event in Middlesbrough.
Patients gathered with their carers and families for the festivities – which included afternoon tea, entertainment, refreshments and Christmas stalls packed with gift ideas.
“We were joined by Vocalise Choir, who got everyone in the festive mood with Christmas songs and carols,” said engagement facilitator Steph Addison.
“It was a lovely day, bringing our patients and families together for festive celebrations. It made for a lovely festive community feeling in the run up to Christmas.”

The carers and families Christmas get-together is always a highlight of the Ridgeway calendar – with visitors enjoying the relaxed and festive atmosphere.
“It was amazing. There were loads of great conversations and listening to the choir made it feel like Christmas was here,” said senior recovery and co-creation lead David Banks.
“The team did a great job of creating a festive joyful family event. Visitors were telling us how much they appreciated the day and the chance to spend quality time with their loved ones in a relaxed place. It was great to be part of it.”
