Positive and safe conference
7 November 2018, 9am – 5pm
Montgomery Suite, The Stadium of Light, Sunderland.
There are a range of different approaches that limit an individual’s movement, liberty and/or freedom to act independently. These are called restrictive interventions. More information is available here.
At TEWV we are working to develop a culture where restrictive interventions are only ever used as a last resort. More information is available for Trust staff on the staff intranet under inTouch > Services > Nursing and Compliance > Positive & Safe.
In partnership with Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust, we are hosting our first Positive and Safe conference to share and spread good practice between the two organisations and to highlight the excellent work being undertaken in the area.
***Registration is now CLOSED***
