Please note that due to the location of our event, GPS trackers, including smart watches and mobile phones are not permitted while running.
Arriving on site
The TEWV 5k will take place at HMP Kirklevington Grange, Yarm, TS15 9PA
Please look for the entrance for The Grange café.
Parking is available on site but is limited so car sharing is recommended where possible.
There will be no baggage area at the event.
The event will start at 11am.
Toilets will be located in The Grange café near the start line.
The Grange is a unique social enterprise café staffed by passionate people dedicated to rehabilitation and serving delicious food and hot drinks. It will be open on the day.
Picking up your run number
Run numbers can be collected from 9am on the morning of the event at HMP Kirklevington Grange.
Please don’t forget to fill in the emergency contact information on the back of your number.
The course
The route is completely flat… and may be a little muddy in places!
It is made up of three laps:
- One around the outside of HMP Kirklevington Grange
- One around the outside and through the surrounding forest
- One on the sports field just inside the prison gates
When you finish
Water will be available at the finish.
You will also receive an edible treat.
There will be a timing chip on your run number. This will activate when you cross the start and finish lines. You will be sent your finish time by text.
