Congratulations to our fab four who’ve been shortlisted in the North East NHS Leadership Recognition Awards 2016-2017.

 

The awards celebrate leaders at all levels and across all professions who have ultimately improved people’s health, the public’s experience of the NHS and those leaders who we are truly proud to work alongside.

Emerging leader award shortlist

This award recognises people with positive energy, a passion for delivering high quality services to improve patient care, and through some early achievements and successes, someone who is growing and developing their career in health and social care as a leader of the future.

 

Mani Krishnan, consultant psychiatrist, mental health services for older people, Teesside

Inspirational leader award shortlist

This award is for a role model who understands the importance of developing diverse talent and is determined in their actions to achieve the objectives of their role. They will, through their embodiment of NHS values, inspires others to achieve great things. 

 

Lisa Taylor, head of service, offender health

Inclusive leader award shortlist

This award is for an individual or team who is dedicated to ensuring that equality and inclusion lie at the heart of their day to day work and in their belief and commitment to the NHS – its constitution, values, structures, processes, behaviours and culture.

Team outstanding achievement award shortlist

For a team which has implemented demonstrable change and/or improvement, achieved through highly effective, sustainable and inclusive team working, and how team working was vital to its success whether this is within an organisation, across organisations or across sectors.

 

We’ll find out who’ll walk away with winners’ trophies on 25 January. Fingers crossed…
