By bringing together mental health and social care staff we can make sure we are offering older people a community mental health service where we can co-ordinate the care to meet their needs.”
Community services for older people were previously provided from Guisborough Hospital. Working with NHS South Tees Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Redcar and Cleveland Council, TEWV sought to improve services for the vulnerable, elderly and those with long-term conditions and subsequently developed Reed Marsh House community base for older people’s services.
