Estates and facilities management at Roseberry Park

On Monday 18 June TEWV Estates and Facilities Management Ltd (TEWV EFM) stepped in to provide estates and facilities management services at Roseberry Park in Middlesbrough.

On Monday 18 June TEWV Estates and Facilities Management Ltd (TEWV EFM), on behalf of the Trust, stepped in to provide estates and facilities management services at Roseberry Park in Middlesbrough.

Previously these services (which include estate maintenance, grounds and gardens, security, parking and restaurant facilities) were provided by Carillion Integrated Services Limited (CIS), on behalf of Three Valleys Healthcare (TVH), the PFI project company.

TEWV EFM is a wholly owned company of TEWV, which was established in late 2017, as part of a plan to ensure continuity of services at Roseberry Park Hospital to address concerns arising from the uncertainty about the future.

The need to take urgent action came to the forefront when the Trust was notified that TVH has gone into administration.

As of 18 June 2018, staff formerly employed by Carillion have been offered employment with TEWV EFM. These staff, together with current sub-contractors, will continue to provide estates services for the hospital.

Colin Martin, Chief Executive of TEWV, said: “Our commitment to our service users, staff and visitors is our first priority.  We have taken this course of action in order to ensure the best possible delivery of estates and facilities services at Roseberry Park Hospital.

“We are unable to comment any further due to the ongoing legal proceedings.”
