Stockton governor attends trust staff recruitment fair
Paul Emerson-Wardle, attended a pilot recruitment fair aimed at informing people about the trust and what values it has and expects from its staff. It also gave people an opportunity to speak to current staff about the service they worked in and their job role. Paul's comments about the day are below:
"I was invited to attend this event by Judith Tulip (Voluntary services manager). The event was introduced by Deborah Newman and a number of service users and carers shared their personal stories...people were invited to find out more about the work of the trust and how to volunteer. Trust staff from many different services were on hand to answer questions. These included children and young people's services, hotel services, talking therapies, forensic services and recovery college to name but a few. We recruited more than forty volunteers who signed up straight away. The time we spent there was very beneficial, good and enjoyable."

The table and the food was very enjoyable and the staff were very good and efficient. I'd like to thank the Communications Department for inviting me to attend and be part of this glittering occasion which was brilliant. Good night for everyone to enjoy and remember.
