Our key quality priorities ensure that we continue to improve the quality of our services
Each year the board of directors agree a number of key quality priorities to ensure that we continue to improve the quality of our services. These priorities are developed with our stakeholders (clinical commissioning groups, social services, overview and scrutiny committees, Healthwatch and trust governors).
The four priorities agreed with our stakeholders for 2014/15 were:
- To have more staff trained in specialist suicide prevention and intervention.
- Implement recommendations of Care Programme Approach (CPA) review, including improving communication between staff, patients and other professionals and treating people as individuals.
- Embed the recovery approach (in conjunction with CPA).
- Managing pressure on acute inpatient beds.
There is more detail about these priorities, as well as how we performed against last year’s priorities, .
