The term of office will end on 30 June 2020 for all vacancies with the exception of two public governor seats for the Rest of England constituency which wil be up to 30 June 2018 and within County Durham which will be up to 30 June 2019.

To ensure that all constituencies and classes are represented we are keen to fill these seats during the election process. In order to achieve this, we have written out to all eligible public and staff members asking them to consider standing as a Governor. Read our Public governor election factsheet and our Staff governor election factsheet to find out more about being a governor, what is expected, what governors do and the support available and view the experiences of some of our governors on our ‘Being a Governor’ page.
