Return to the Roseberry Park homepage
Following a consultation with staff and service users, thirteen artists were commissioned to create a series of inspirational and calming pieces of artwork for both the interior and exterior of Roseberry Park.
Our visitors told us...
"The art work is fabulous."
"The photographs are beautiful. They create a sense of well-being."

Poetry
The 'Finding Ways' poetry poems are the centerpiece of the arts commission. The journey of this steel ribbon of words cuts through gardens and hallways. |

Glass
Throughout Roseberry Park there are specially designed glass areas. These can be found in the multi-faith space, cafe and day rooms. They are brightly coloured and service users chose the different designs around the site.

Bird boxes
Bird boxes can be found dotted about the gardens at Roseberry Park. They are very unusual and eye catching and hopefully will become home to lots of local birds.

Joe Cornish photography
Images of local scenes taken by lanscape photographer Joe Cornish have been installed throughout Roseberry Park. The wards are named after some of these areas, for example Westerdale and Bedale. |
"I wholeheartedly support the use of artwork around this facility. I am sure that it is a strong part of why the atmosphere is so conducive to healing."
"I do like the photographs, I feel they bring a relaxing feel to the building."
